AMORIC are an award winning, four-piece, unsigned rock band who are based in Dublin, Ireland. The quartet’s front-woman, Lora, has an undeniable vocal ability and stage presence and this coupled with the band’s hard-hitting playing style produces the diverse and memorable sound that is AMORIC.
AMORIC have over sixty thousand MySpace fans and have won live music competitions and various music awards. The band are renowned for their amazing live shows and they have played to over a quarter of a million people in live performances. The band have also performed live acoustic sessions on various radio stations to much acclaim.
AMORIC’s debut EP was recorded in Dublin’s Temple Lane Studios in late 2008 with Grammy nominated US producer Bruce Sugar. Bruce’s career reads like a Who’s Who of popular music having worked with Ozzy Osbourne, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Joe Walsh of the Eagles and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith to name but a few. Bruce also received a 2009 Grammy nomination for Best Surround Sound Album.
AMORIC have received various awards including best live performance at the Irish East Coast Idol competition, songwriter of the month on hitquarters.com and finalist for best rock song in the internationally renowned John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
