More About the Artists

The Redhill Valleys is a dynamic four-piece Alt-Country and Roots Rock band from Hamilton, ON, which skillfully combines grit-infused harmonies, commanding musicianship, and an energetic, captivating live show. The band consists of guitarists Tim Allard and Danielle Beaudin, bassist Chelsea McWilliams, and drummer Matt Soliveri, and has gained recognition for its familiar, yet unique sound.
Mountain Head begins with the Hannah Brothers, and a mountain. The mysterious duo wandered through the wasteland and arrived at a mountain, which they scaled. At the top, they discovered a shaman who changed the brothers’ lives and way of thinking forever. Descending the mountain, they channeled Johnny Cash, Flavor Flav, and Billy Gibbons. Dressed in black denim, & rocking solid gold grills.
F Scott & The Nighthawks – emerged and axe-slingers converged Nighthawks would ride that wave. With Freddy’s spirit in tow, followed by the flight of the crow, young Scotty would find the path. To drunken nights and the occasional fights, neon lights screaming rock n roll. The next move was clear and as crisp as a beer, The Nighthawks are coming to conquer your soul. So get your own Mary, sweet as a cherry, and take her out tonight. The boys are on, pour another blonde and dance till the morning light.
The Road is Wide. The Nighthawks Ride.

Secret Broadcast – With a goal of throwing out the rule book and using any tools available to best serve the song, heralded Toronto rock outfit Secret Broadcast created a genre bending album that blurs the lines between modern blues rock and and 70s soul. “We let the songs dictate the sound of the record and added whichever instruments best suited each composition” says lead singer Matt Lightstone. As a result, their new album Penny Arcade combines 70s era Rolling Stones swagger with the blues rock sensibilities of The Black Keys by pairing gospel singers, horn sections, piano and lap steel, with distorted guitar riffs and overdriven vocals. The album features several guest musicians including Christopher Thorn from Blind Melon, who provides his slide guitar virtuosity on the single Only Drug.

Over the years, Secret Broadcast has shared the stage with the likes of Metric, The New Pornographers and Tokyo Police Club and performed at festivals including CMJ, Juno Fest, and Virgin Festival. Penny Arcade will be released through Eone Music Canada on June 14th
