Indie Week Canada 2017 “Best of the Fest”
ETNO is a four piece rock band based in Brasília with influences that range from grunge to new metal, adding a contemporary touch to their sound and performance. The band has been on the road gaining speed since 2002, building a solid career and a big influence in their hometown as well as other cities and states of Brazil.

In 2017 ETNO was awarded “Best of the Fest” at Indie Week Festival out of the 300+ bands playing at more than 20 venues in Toronto, Canada. In August 2018 they released their new EP “Escarlate” during CoMA Festʼs Indie Week night and has been well received by fans and industry.

Since then they toured England in October, playing Sofar Sounds in London and headlining Indie Week UK in Manchester. And in November headed back to Toronto for another series of shows during Indie Week as last editionʼs winners. Now in 2019, the band released their latest music video for the title track “Escarlate” and are getting ready to continue touring and release the final chapter of their album later this year.
