Kendal Thompson is a singer and songwriter born in Alliston, Ontario, Canada. In 2007 Kendal took a leap and moved to Toronto where she found a home in the folk and indie circuit. Endless shows and lucille projects later she connected with producer, songwriter and musician Mike Schlosser of Little Noise Records, and the musical results have formed that basis of all her music since. Her first EP “One” was released on 2015 and has helped her gain the attention of other Toronto artists. Thompson, along with her team at Little Noise records, released a much anticipated follow up in August 2017, the single Human Feel. Human Feel gained much success, including a live TV performance on Hamilton’s CHCH New Music Friday. Thompson’s EP was later released in June 2018, titled OK COOL after the self reflective nature of the songs included on the album. The use of the OK hand gesture on the artwork was inspired by the songs and overall message; that where we are right now on our own personal journey is perfectly OK! Being patient with ourselves and showing ourselves love, is key.
